Electnodes were the elected officials of the Marasan government, the Mindnet.

As nearly all Marasans had sophisticated computers installed as cyborg implants, the Electnodes operated by collecting and processing data and opinion from their constituents, and then communicating with one another and with their leader and decision-maker, the Grand Daern. This system worked swiftly and efficiently, with no physical effort on the part of the politicians involved. Marasan politicians tended towards obesity.

The Electnodes and the Grand Daern were stripped of their power after the Marasans were conquered by the Galactic Empire.

Behind the scenesEdit

"Electnode" seems to be a play on the word "electrode", which seems appropriate given the government's name of "Mindnet."
