Electric prods were generally cylindrical devices that delivered an electric charge, that could be used to force a being or creature into submission. Sabotage droids had electrical prods as part of their arsenal and electric prods were also bolted on the side of the Tirrith restraining globe to keep Mils Giel's mutated Tirrith agitated and at bay. The prod was powered by a Vuvritech 44 generator.
