An electric shaver was a tool with a rotating or oscillating blade, primarily used in the removal of unwanted body hair through the act of shaving. The electric shaver usually did not require the use of shaving cream, soap, or water. The shaver was powered by a small motor, and usually had rechargeable batteries.
