Electrum

Electrum is a rare metal once used in lightsaber construction as a sign of Force mastery. It was mined on several planets, including Abregado-rae. Only one lightsaber is confirmed to have this metal in it Jedi Master Mace Windu's unique lightsaber.

Electrum was also used to make jewelry.

• Electrum in real life is a naturally-occurring alloy of primarily gold with silver, copper, and a few other metals. It was popularly used by ancient cultures (such as the Egyptians) for decoration, coins and other uses, and was amongst the first metals used by humankind.
