Emergency cube concentrates were small pink edible cubes containing nutrient concentrates. They had no flavor, and were used in emergency situations by Rebel operatives. Having crashed on Mimban, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa survived on emergency cube concentrates until they came upon an Imperial mining colony.
