Emess Shan was the wife of Vaner Shan, the son of the renown Jedi Order members Revan and Bastila Shan. She had two children with him, Reesa and Bress Shan. Initially, when they first met, Bastila did not approve of Vaner's relationship with Emess because of Emess being too young for Vaner, but eventually came to accept their relationship.
