Eminence (Carrack-class)

Eminence was a Carrack-class cruiser that served in the Imperial Navy.

It was part of the Imperial fleet that fought at the Battle of Endor. During the battle, the vessel attempted to attack Rebel Alliance rescue craft tasked with picking up survivors from the destruction of the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Liberty. However, the warship was held off by the Dornean Braha'tok-class gunship Braha'tok.
The two ships engaged in combat until a second Braha'tok-class ship, the Torktarak, engaged Eminence from behind. The firepower of the two Alliance craft overwhelmed and destroyed the Imperial vessel.
[edit] Behind the scenes
The Eminence was created by Ello137 in his What's the Story? submission for the Dornean Gunship. Originally, according to the blog of its creator, it was intended to represent the ship of the same name present at the Battle of ThonBoka. After submitting it, however, he realized that this ship was a Star Destroyer, not a Carrack cruiser.
