The cloning facility deep within the Imperial Palace on Coruscant was a clandestine laboratory constructed upon the orders of Emperor Palpatine.

HistoryEdit

Upon the orders of Emperor Palpatine, a cloning facility was established in the bowels of the Imperial Palace under the reign of the Galactic Empire. A clandestine laboratory, the facility contained several Spaarti cloning cylinders which Palpatine used for his experiments into essence transferance. Before the Emperor could make use of the cloning facility to replace his own body he was killed over the planet Endor and the Empire fell into disarray. The cloning facility was discovered by Director of Imperial Intelligence Ysanne Isard, who destroyed all of the cylinders except for one, which she transferred to her Super Star Destroyer Lusankya and used to breed a single clone of herself.^[1]
