The energy lance was the primary weapon of the Mon Calamari Knights operating on Dac during the Clone Wars. The weapon was essentially force pike equipped with an electromagnetic pulse generator and balance for use in the mounted combat. At the battle of Mon Calamari, Mon Calamari Knights used these weapons to fry manta droid subfighters.
