Engira was a planet in the Jospro sector, located in the Outer Rim.

For some time before the destruction of the first Death Star, Engira served the Empire as an Imperial supply colony. Convoys of supplies coming from Engira were directed to Imperial garrisons and facilities throughout the galaxy, making the planet a prime target for pirates.
