Entertainment Earth Exclusive Star Wars Astromech Droid Set included ten unique astromech droid action figures. While all ten are based on droids that appear throughout the saga, many are painted differently than they appear on film, such as R3-T2. These started shipping to collectors in January of 2006.

In addition to the Star Wars Customizable Card Game from Decipher, Inc., these two sets of figures added to the information available on several lesser-known astromech droids.

R2-A6, green marked droid. Belonged to Ric Olié and helped him during the Battle of Naboo.
R2-C4, yellow marked droid. Served the Queen of Naboo. Originally called R2-D3.
R2-M5, red marked droid. Served the Queen of Naboo. Originally called R2-D1
R2-Q2, gray droid. Appeared as an Imperial droid aboard the Tantive IV as well as Biggs Darklighter's droid during the Battle of Yavin. May be a double-agent.
R2-X2, black and white droid. Belonged to Theron Nett, Red 10 during the Battle of Yavin.
R3-T2, red domed droid. Painted incorrectly, this droid has adapted to the harsh deserts of Tatooine and haunts the streets of Mos Eisley. It is assumed he has an owner but it is not known who.
R3-T6, clear domed red and white droid. Calculated hyperspace coordinates for the Empire and perished aboard the original Death Star.
R3-Y2, green droid with a clear dome. Aids the Rebels during the Battle of Hoth during their escape from Darth Vader.
R4-A22, orange cone headed droid. Also known as R4-T8, he wandered the Coco District of Coruscant during Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
R4-E1, red and white cone headed droid. Belonged to spacer BoShek.

Fan/collector Adam Pawlus made it a project to get R2-X2, his favorite as-of-then unmade droid, made in 2005. That spring, he started a project to get R2-X2 and nine other astromech droids seeing production as action figures in 2006 as exclusives to online store Entertainment Earth. While he has made reference to having droid data for future figures he'd like to see, no plans have been announced.

BoShek's droid, R4-E1, was included as an in-joke for readers of Adam Pawlus' various columns over the years. (The column frequently mentioned BoShek and unintentionally helped convince Hasbro to make the spacer in early 2002.)

The final names of some droids were not known until shortly before the item was announced in July 2005. Some of the droids were seen with different names prior to the announcement of these figures, which featured Lucasfilm-approved names. It is for this reason that droids on Astromech.net and these figures may be named differently.
