The New Republic Envoy to Gyndine was a distinguished man who served during the Yuuzhan Vong War.
Considered handsome, the Envoy had seen action at a Battle of Kashyyyk, earning the Medal of Honor in the process and had been cited for exemplary service through the Yevethan Crisis. Later he became a member of the New Republic Advisory Council to the Chief of State before eventually becoming envoy.
With the position, he was present at the First Battle of Gyndine, assisting in the evacuation of the planet from its Yuuzhan Vong invaders in 25 ABY, promising to get everyone offworld. When unable to do just that, the Envoy was overcome with guilt aboard the final departing ship, prompting Ambassador Leia Organa Solo to console the man.
