Epsilon Nine was a Communications Research Station located in the Cron Drift tasked with developing new spy satellites for Imperial Intelligence.
After the Empire was defeated during the final battle of the Galactic Civil War, the station attempted to defect to the New Republic. Dark Lady of the Sith Lumiya was dispatched by Imperial stewardess Ysanne Isard to travel to Epsilon Nine and forcefully bring them back into Imperial jurisdiction.
