The Colicoid Eradicator was the predecessor of the feared Droideka produced by the Colicoid Creation Nest.

Characteristics

The droid was nearly three meters tall and stood on a sturdy pair of legs. It was armed with heavy weapons, which consisted of a pair of blaster rifles and a pair of ion cannons. They were also one of the first droids that utilized a personal shielding system, though it was somewhat limited and was somewhat enhanced with its successors. The droids were equipped with internal computer processors which allowed the droid to work independently in combat without relying on a remote control unit, though its limited intelligence limited it to simple missions.

This model of combat droid was first used fifty years before the Clone Wars ravaged the galaxy.
