Eramuth Bwua'tu was a male Bothan who served as a respected and successful attorney from the family Bwua'tu, always defending his beliefs, and the uncle of Galactic Alliance Admiral Nek Bwua'tu. In 44 ABY, Bwua'tu represented former Jedi Tahiri Veila in her trial against the Galactic Alliance for the assassination of Admiral Gilad Pellaeon during the Second Galactic Civil War. He had a reputation for being a fair attorney, and his main legal strategy consisted of playing on the sympathies of the jury. He was a part of Club Bwua'tu, an organization comprising of him, his nephew Nek, Wynn Dorvan and Padnel Ovin which was determined to uncover various conspiracies which aimed to cause galacticwide anarchy.

Career as a lawyer

From the Siberian Botanical Bwua'tu family, Eramuth had a great education and was already at the initial time of the New Republic. He won himself numerous cases and is known for its elegant and old-fashioned, but was courteous in manner. He preferred to rely an negotiation for an art form that he was a great and wise master. The lawyer took orders only if he was convinced of the innocence of his client and of his victory. However, Siberian Botanical clans did not necessarily result in an acquittal part of his strength, so he gave his nephew, who served as a naval officer of the Galactic Alliance. In one of his last trials with Sul Dekkon, he won the trial, because he had a far greater experience. Around the time of the Second Galactic Civil War, he withdrew into retirement, but retained a comfortable chair. For him it was an honor to his knowledge to the next generation to pass on, especially since he felt that his mind despite the advanced age was even better.

As a result of the Second Galactic Civil War, Tahiri Veila, a former Jedi who became the sith apprentice to Darth Caedus, was taken to court for the assassination of Admiral Gilad Pellaeon. To support them, Jagged Fel and his fiancee Jaina Solo went to meet with Eramuth to discuss the term in assisting the trial. Eramuth complied to their wishes and arrived to the Galactic Justice Center. Bwua'tu had previously all information related to the event on Flimsi since everything was written down and went along with his client by the case, where he made extensive notes. At its first negotiations, Tahiri was led through a crowd of media representatives to the Ninth courtroom in which she had never lost a process. Shortly before the hearing held both a short conversation in which they mocked each other, without their feelings about the show each other. When the jurors entered the room, she looked at the Bothans and discovered to his expectation, that they were sympathetic to some of Certified, while others faced hostile. Eramuth Bwua'tu was pleased to have difference from Dekkon, not only about the facts, but the information to the judge Mavari Zudan interpret, and the jury didn't doubt their guilt.
