Ernie Fosselius voiced Malakili and Giran in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. He also served as the music arranger for the film. Sound designer Ben Burtt asked Fosselius to record the sobs of the rancor, and he reportedly based the sound on Stan Laurel. In addition, he did sound effects for Poggle the Lesser.

Fosselius wrote and directed the first Star Wars parody ever called Hardware Wars. The 30th anniversary DVD is now available for pre-order at all major retailers. It will be available on February 9th, 2010.
