Plot summaryEdit

While C-3PO and R2-D2 are repairing the ship, Threepio accidentally lets the hyperdrive float away. They head to Annoo to stay with Kea's mother while they try to secure a new hyperdrive.

Sise Fromm berates his son Tig for his failure and plans to capture the droids and their new masters while they are on Annoo.

Artoo notices the Fromm as they wait in line to register on Annoo. He creates a distraction by pretending to break down and go mad, and they escape to Kea's mother's house. As Artoo and Threepio try to help with chores, they discover a secret Rebel base and realize that Kea is a Rebel.

Sise Fromm sends a droid to attack Thall, but Kea destroys it. Kea's mother explains that the Fromm Gang is building a secret weapon, the Trigon One on Ingo; they attacked Thall because he discovered the weapon's location. Kea was there to help rescue him because she was searching for the weapon's location. They all set off to destroy the weapon in order to save Annoo.

Kea and Thall sneak aboard Sise Fromm's ship as cargo, with the droids pretending to work aboard the ship. On the way to Ingo, they run into a meteor storm, and the droids lose track of the containers where Kea and Thall are hiding. Threepio manages to get them away safely, however, by saving the life of Vlix Oncard.

A couple of Annoo-dat swipe the thermal detonator Kea gave Threepio, but they give it back and let the droids go when Threepio mentions Vlix. After a fight, they manage to steal the Trigon One and blow a hole in the ceiling to make their escape. Fromm sends fighters after them, but they are useless against the powerful weapons of the Trigon One.

Kea wants to use the Trigon One against the other gangs, but Thall protests that it's too powerful a weapon and must be destroyed completely. Kea and the droids agree.
