The Ettam massacre took place in Ettam, a small town on Ralltiir, during the Imperial occupation of the planet.

HistoryEdit

The massacre was one of many violent events on Ralltiir, during the conflict between the Imperial occupation force and the local Rebel cells. It was perpetrated by Imperial Army Commander Akobi, who, while Rebel insurgents blocked his communications, ordered an attack on what he thought to be a Rebel ammunition depot.

Instead, his bombers, following the coordinates he gave them, destroyed a medcenter packed with innocent civilians. The incident was downplayed by the Galactic Empire, and Akobi was made a hero. The massacre occurred five days before the battle of Yavin 4 and the destruction of the first Death Star.
