Jai Kell: "And what about you, Nazh... Oleg? Are you from here?"
Nazhros Oleg: "Of course not. I'm from Eufornis."
Zare Leonis: "Which one? Eufornis Major, or Eufornis Minor?"
Nazhros Oleg: "Minor."
Unit Aurek discuss Oleg's homeworld[1]

Eufornis Minor, sometimes referred to as simply Eufornis, was a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. A remote colony, it was sometimes confused with Eufornis Major, a prestigious city-planet located within the Core Worlds.

History[]

"So the Empire gives the 'Glom total control of transport on Eufornis Minor. Can't get on a tram without chaincodes, let alone a shuttle, and I'm stuck way out in the middle of muck all."
―Chass na Chadic recalls her experience on Eufornis Minor[2]

Eufornis Minor was the homeworld of Nazhros Oleg, a cadet in the Galactic Empire.[1]

At some point before 4 ABY,[3] the Empire gave the Slipglass Conglomerate total control of transport on Eufornis Minor, enforcing chaincode regulations on public transportation. The Theelin Chass na Chadic was able to escape offworld despite complications.[2] Around 5 ABY,[4] she recounted her time on the planet, with embellished details, to Lieutenant Yrica Quell while the pair served with the New Republic in the Cerberon system.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Eufornis Minor was first mentioned in the 2015 junior novel Servants of the Empire: Rebel in the Ranks, the second installment in the Servants of the Empire series written by Jason Fry.[1]

  3. Shadow Fall states that Chass na Chadic escaped Eufornis Minor before she joined Hound Squadron; Chadic was with Hound Squadron by the events of Alphabet Squadron, which takes place several weeks after the Battle of Endor. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates Endor, and thus the events of Alphabet Squadron, to 4 ABY, meaning the escape must have happened before then.
  4. Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of Shadow Fall to 5 ABY.
