[edit] Biography
Where all other Jedi Masters refused, it was Everen Ettene who agreed to teach Halagad Ventor the ways of the Force. Other Masters claimed that Halagad was too old and did not exhibit enough control of his mind, and that he was a danger to himself.
During the Separatist Crisis, Ettene and Ventor were dispatched from Coruscant along with Master Ludwin Katarkus and his Padawan Danyawarra to initiate peace talks in the Virgillian Civil War. The Jedi transport was destroyed upon arrival at Virgillia 7, apparently killing Ettene and the other three Jedi. A funeral for the Jedi deaths was held on Coruscant when they were finally declared lost after being missing for three standard weeks.
However, Halagad Ventor and Danyawarra later reemerged to serve in the Clone Wars.
[edit] Behind the scenes
Since Halagad Ventor and Danyawarra survived Virgillia 7 after being presumed dead, it is possible that Ettene and Katarkus also survived.
In what is perhaps a nod to Halagad Ventor being named after Galahad, Everen Ettene appears to be named after Guinevere and Elaine of Carbonek (Elaine was disguised as Guinevere in order to trick Lancelot into sleeping with her, leading to Galahad's conception).
Ettene's gender is never revealed in official sources, though since the character appears to be named after two females, it might be safe to assume that Ettene was indeed female.
