Exar Kun fresco was a painting available in the galaxy sometime after the Battle of Yavin during the Galactic Civil War, a conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It depicted a lightsaber duel between Dark Lord of the Sith Exar Kun—who died in 3,996 BBY^[2]—wielding a lightsaber with a red blade, and a female Twi'lek Jedi wielding a lightsaber with a blue blade who eventually fell to the Sith Lord. It was found by a group of spacers during their assault on the Cult of Exar Kun in the catacombs beneath Kun's temple on the moon Yavin 4.^[1]

Exar Kun fresco was a painting that appeared in the 2003 MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. It was added to the game as part of the Chapter 9: The Fury of Exar Kun game update on April 3, 2008. The fresco is one of the many items players could receive as loot after defeating the spirit of Exar Kun at the end of the Temple of Exar Kun "heroic encounter." The painting's description states that Exar Kun is facing a male opponent in the painting, but his opponent is actually a Twi'lek female. The fresco could be used in of the player's personal buildings as decoration.
