Expanse

The Expanse was the name given to the ore-rich section of the Tapani sector under the control of the seven noble houses. The seven houses, as well as the area itself, are the remnant of a small stellar empire that occupied the sector centuries ago.
The Freeworlds region's border was dictated by the edge of the expanse.
