The Extorin Minor skirmishes were a conflict that occurred[2] at some point by 29 BBY.[1] The skirmishes shared their name with the Extorin Minor system, a part of the Expansion Region's Extorin sector,[3] and involved aggressors belonging to the group known as the Extorin. During the conflict, the Extorin threatened the Montitians of[2] the poor world[4] Montitia[2] in the Extorin sector's neighboring Montitian Grant sector.[5]
As part of one of the final campaigns of the Extorin Minor skirmishes, a group of Jedi Knights of the Jedi Order and their Padawan learners were struggling to protect and rescue the last of Montitia's refugees from a camp on Montitia besieged by the Extorin. In what became known as the legendary Montitian Extraction, Charza Kwinn, a pilot allied with the Order, arrived on Montitia in an unarmed freighter. Displaying impressive piloting skills under heavy fire, Kwinn was able to lead both the refugees and the Jedi to safety.[2]

The Extorin Minor skirmishes were introduced in "The Priapulin," a Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game source article in The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life series. The article was published in the eighth issue of the Star Wars Gamer magazine[2] on December 21, 2001.[6]
