Falling Star is a comic appearing in Star Wars Tales 15 and collected in Star Wars Tales Volume 4 and Luke Skywalker, Last Hope for the Galaxy.
Plot summary

A young Luke Skywalker and Biggs Darklighter, eager to get off Tatooine for no matter how short a time, have purchased tickets to go to one of the planet's moons on a GR-75 transport. Taking off from Mos Eisley, they are at first ecstatic, but then a near-disaster occurs as the engines malfunction, and the transport starts plummeting back to the surface. Luke manages to fix the engines and is acclaimed a hero, but the damaged shuttle must go back to the surface. Dejected that his dream of spaceflight has been ruined, Luke returns home.
