Falung was a member of the Priest caste of the Yuuzhan Vong. A Priestess of Yun-Harla, she was a part of Supreme Commander Zho Krazhmir's force which attacked the living world of Zonama Sekot. When Vergere offered to go with the Yuuzhan Vong, she became Falung's familiar. Falung taught Vergere much of the mythology of Yun-Harla, and Vergere linked herself to the Trickster. Eventually, Falung died, and Vergere passed to the possession of Elan.
Behind the scenes
It is entirely possible that Falung was actually the mother of Elan, making her the mate of Most High Priest Jakan.
