[edit] Synopsis

A group of Star Wars fanboys take a road trip to Skywalker Ranch to fulfill the wish of a friend to see Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace before he dies from cancer.

[edit] Behind the scenes

After George Lucas was given an advanced screening of the rough cut of the film, he enjoyed it and gave it his "stamp of approval". He then contacted the filmmakers with his authorization to use Star Wars sound effects. Filmmaker and Star Wars fan Kevin Smith also viewed an early version of the film and asked for and was allowed a cameo in the film, which he wrote and directed himself.[1]

Star Wars fans attending Celebration IV were given an exclusive preview of the film, with clips from it played to the live commentary of director Kyle Newman, along with an exclusive "prequel" comic book to the film.

Fans attending Celebration Europe in London were shown the entire rough cut, followed by a question and answer session by Kyle Newman.
