The Far Xandil sector was a Mid Rim sector located near the Ryndellian sector.[1] The area was first explored by the Galactic Republic after 3000 BBY, with the territory surviving the New Sith Wars under Republic control. Eventually, by 137 ABY, the sector was controlled by Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.[2]

Worlds in the sector had 1 million to 10 million inhabitants on average.[2]
