Fassa was a female Gungan and niece to Boss Rugor Nass.

Fassa served as a major in the Gungan Grand Army. She was sent by Rep Teers to oversee the construction of an arena in Lake Umberbool to mark the Festival of Warriors. Fassa was caught in an accident that collapsed much of the structure, though she was saved by Jar Jar Binks. She pledged a life debt to the hapless Binks as a way to repay his bravery, despite Jar Jar's insistence that he did not deserve the life debt. Fortunately for Binks, the life-debt was revoked by Boss Nass on a technicality.
Fassa later entered the Big Nasty Free-For-All, and managed to beat Jar Jar, Captain Tarpals and even Nass himself to claim victory in the contest.
