Biography
Edit
Discovered to be Force-sensitive at an early age, Fi-Ek Sirch was sent to the Coruscant Jedi Temple for training in the ways of the Force. Passing through the Temple's academy, Sirch was selected as a Padawan by one of the Order's Jedi Masters. While traveling around the galaxy with his master, Sirch crafted for himself a blue-bladed lightsaber for his personal use. Completing his Trials of Knighthood successfully, Sirch was elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight by the Jedi High Council.[1]
In 22 BBY, the the height of the Separatist Crisis between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Sirch was stationed at the Temple when Master of the Order Mace Windu called on all available Knights to join a large strike team to rescue the captive Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and the Naboo Senator Padmé Amidala. Flying to Geonosis immediately, Sirch joined his fellow Jedi in storming the Petranaki arena, igniting his lightsaber amongst a crowd of spectators in order to disperse the crowd. Leaping into in the battle when the Separatist Droid Army was unleashed from the bowels of the arena, Sirch was simply overwhelmed by the sheer number of battle droids and was killed by blasterfire.[1]
