Fia was the granddaughter of Spang, and a hypernautics engineer who worked at Spang's Repair Shop on Tanquilla Beach.

BiographyEdit

Fia graduated from Corellia University's School of Starship Engineering a few months before the liberation of Kal'Shebbol. She lived on Tanquilla Beach with her grandfather, and was a natural hypernautics engineer. When the FarStar required a massive repair job to its hyperdrive engines, Fia conducted the work since Spang was too busy. Using a portable drydock, she overhauled and repaired the engines in two weeks, and upgraded them to Class One. During the work, Fia discovered evidence of Sarne's programming "backdoors" in the FarStar's engine circuitry that caused the hyperdrive failure. She removed the trapdoors, but did not have the technical skills to hunt for more. When Spang noticed the discovery, he mentioned that he had seen similar work on Pembric II.

Personality and traitsEdit

Young and attractive, Fia was a flirt. She was very defensive, and hated any implications that she was too young or too female to be a competent engineer. Although sympathetic to the New Republic, she would not consider joining the FarStar if she was asked.
