An experimental battle droid was a battle droid model built on the planetoid Annamar.
History[]
This model was built in a droid factory during the time of the Old Republic. Following the factory's abandonment, rogue droids wandered the deserts of Annamar, constituting a threat to anyone on the planetoid. Darth Vader and Luca encountered such a droid, which hid underneath the sand, waiting for its prey. They managed to destroy the droid, but rested in a cave for the night, to avoid encountering more in the darkness.
