A sentient species that was characterized by tentacle-like growths on its members' faces.
Biology and appearance[]
The species had somewhat large, wide heads, with a total of four small, proboscis-like tentacles hanging from their face (somewhat similar to a Quarren); one was hanging from either side of their upper lip, near where the upper and lower lips met, and one slightly further to each side, draping from near each cheekbone. They also had stout hands and feet, with no nails.
History[]
Some members of the species were the survivors of a shipwreck that crashed on the planet Balnab, and the survivors settled down and became the only intelligent species on the world. C-3PO and R2-D2 were on board; they landed on Balnab after the ship became low on fuel, after which some of the survivors held them hostage. Their captors took them to the "god" of Balnab, named Albee Dewaw; soon thereafter, R2 and C-3PO uncovered the truth behind the "god" - it was a group of pit droids. This revelation was made much to the dismay of their captors, who believed Albee Dewaw to be a real deity/entity.
The bounty hunter Oked was also a member of this tentacle-faced species.
The owner of the cantina Plop Dribble's, Loubo, was also a member of this species, as well as a customer seen inside Plop Dribble's.
A member of this species lived in the settlement of Pons Ora, on the planet Abafar.
