C6-N8 was a protocol droid active during the Cold War. It could be found on Alderaan. In 3643 BBY, the droid tasked a traveling Republic affiliated individual with helping its master, Selia Antares, defuse a House Ulgo bomb on a transport ship. The hero succeeded, and was able to return the defusal codes to Antares.

Behind the scenes

C6-N8 appears in the mission "Bomb on Board" for Republic classes in the 2011 BioWare MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic as the mission starting point.
