Star Wars: Clone Wars: Planetary Forces was a Flash-based arcade online game based on Cartoon Network's 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series. It was launched in October 2003 as part of Cartoon Network's Clone Wars website. It became unavailable when Cartoon Network took the website offline.

Opening crawl[]

The Clone Wars
PLANETARY Forces
The Republic stands on the brink
of collapse. Thousands of star
systems have joined Count Dooku's
Separatist movement, sparking the
beginning of the Clone Wars.

On the banking planet of Muunilinst,
General Obi-Wan Kenobi clashes
with Durge and his mercenary
forces. Meanwhile, on the remote
world of Rattatak, Anakin
Skywalker faces off against the Dark
Jedi Asajj Ventress. And on the
aquatic planet of Mon Calamari, Jedi
Kit Fisto leads an assault against
Dooku's Separatist army.

These are only small battles in a
much larger war, but their respective
outcomes will determine the fate
of the galaxy...

Gameplay[]

Planetary Forces consists of three simple arcade games on three different planets. Each game has a light-side and dark-side version. In the light-side version, the player controls a Jedi, while in the dark-side version the player controls a Separatist character.

On Rattatak, the player controls either Anakin Skywalker or Asajj Ventress in lightsaber combat. The player character can be moved back and forward, use a jump attack, and use the Force to push the enemy away. On Muunilinst, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Durge fight each other on swoops. The player has to ram his bike into the enemy to damage and finally destroy him.

The Mon Calamari level is a side-scrolling shooter where the player controls either Kit Fisto or a Quarren commander. Kit Fisto can use his Force Orb ability to shoot enemies; the Quarren commander uses his trident to shoot "trident blasts." The boss enemy at the end of the level is the crab cannon (light side) or Kit Fisto (dark side).
