Communications Bunker 33 was a communications installation built in the northwestern corner of the Cartel mining mesa on the planet Makeb. The bunker was one of many such installations across Makeb that were used by the InterStellar Regulators, the planet's mercenary defense force that was bought off by the Hutt Cartel prior to the Conquest of Makeb. During the conflict, the reconstituted Sith Empire captured the bunker and established it as their foothold on the mesa.[1]

Communications Bunker 33 was added to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic along with the rest of the planet Makeb in the 2013 Digital Expansion Star Wars: The Old Republic: Rise of the Hutt Cartel.[1]
