F'nonc horns were a type of musical wind instrument consisting of a gas bag at the end of a cylindrical tube. The three Palandag musicians Dhuz, Hhex and Jhat played f'nonc horns through tentacular embouchures while at the Canto Casino in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
F'nonc horns first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi,[2] which was released on December 15, 2017.[3] The props were not named in the film,[2] but received identification in Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary, a reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo[1] and released in conjunction with the film.[4]
