The Galleon was the unarmed predecessor of the Star Galleon-class frigate.
History[]
The class was first used in the days of the Galactic Republic. Following the Clone Wars, it continued to be used in the Imperial Navy.
Behind the scenes[]
Although difficult to compare, the game stats in Star Wars: Rebellion depict the Galleon as a slow and fragile transport equipped with weak shields and a class 2 hyperdrive that would be able to transport about two Imperial Army regiments.[1]
