The Republic SpecForce defector Bex Kolos, better known as Gearbox, developed the walker codenamed Project B in a bunker in the Glarus Valley on the planet Alderaan. During the SpecForce Incident, Havoc Squad used information from Markus Thul to track down Gearbox at the bunker, and killed him after defeating the walker.[1]

Gearbox's bunker appears in the Trooper class mission "The Future of War" on Alderaan in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was released in 2011.[1]
