The IA-82 Artillery Droid was a model of six-legged battle droid available during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. The IA-82 generated massive ion blasts from its forward cannon, leaving ion fields in the wake of the blast. The Twi'lek arms dealer Olok the Shadow sold IA-82 Artillery Droids in his auction on Darvannis.

IA-82 Artillery Droids appear as one of the four types of droid enemies in the Olok the Shadow boss encounter in the Operation "Scum and Villainy," which was added to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as part of the Digital Expansion Rise of the Hutt Cartel.[1]
