"Welcome to the Coronet starport. I trust all of your travel needs will be met in an efficient and courteous matter."
―Jesseb Convorr[1]

Jesseb Convorr was a Human male who lived on Corellia at the time of the Galactic Civil War. He was high-ranking employee of the Coronet Starport.

Biography[]

"Jesseb Convorr, the starport master, has sent in a report of vandalism in the starport. He'd like someone to find those responsible and stop them from doing it again."
Lieutenant Jasper[2]

By the time following the Battle of Yavin, Jesseb Convorr served as the starport master of the Coronet Starport, in Coronet City.[1] In 1 ABY,[3] Convorr worked with a spacer to find a missing shipment ordered by the businessman Ral Mundi. The spacer finally discover that it was in fact stolen by the Ragtags.[1] A short time later, Jesseb Convorr requested the assistance of the Corellian Security Force because of the destruction of several terminals in the Starport. CorSec Lieutenant Mack Jasper sent him a spacer to investigate the vandalism. While Convorr immediately suspected the Meatlumps, the spacer discovered that the Ragtags were responsible, and trying to blame the Meatlumps for the vandalism.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Jesseb Convorr was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4]

Jesseb Convorr was added to the game with the release of the "Publish 21", on August 4, 2005.[5] He was part of the quest named "Find the Missing Shipment of Starship Components", best known as "Ral Mundi's quest".[6] Ral Mundi's quest was revamped with the release of the "Publish 27", on February 15, 2006,[7] as the quest was inserted into the "Legacy Quest," the main questline in the game.[1]

  3. According to its opening crawl, Star Wars Galaxies was set sometime after Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The only precise time indication in the game was given by the character Ruwan Tokai, who referenced the destruction of the Death Star at the Battle of Yavin as occurring one year earlier, placing the game sometime around 1 ABY. Later, multiple elements confirmed the placement of the game storyline in 1 ABY. First, The Essential Reader's Companion established that the tie-in novel Star Wars Galaxies: The Ruins of Dantooine took place in 1 ABY. Furthermore, the game expansion Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees was set during the Blockade of Kashyyyk, one year after the Battle of Yavin according to The Star Wars Holiday Special. Additionally, the main scenario of The Nightsister's Revenge from the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game was set over a year before the Battle of Hoth (3 ABY), so around 1.5 ABY. Finally, the reference book Strongholds of Resistance placed the events of Star Wars Galaxies's Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" one year after the Battle of Yavin. Of note, Galaxies's Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" introduced the Battle of Hoth in the game. However, the developers were quite clear that this was only intended to be a completely isolated "Star Wars Moment" without any effect on continuity for the rest of the game.
