The K-57CE engine was a type of starship engine produced by Czerka Corporation during the the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. The K-57CE's gravity capacitors and maneuvering thrusters were specially-calibrated for the "snap turn" defensive maneuver, allowing pilots to perform 180-degree snap turns in seconds.
