The KD-24 Auditory Provocation Drone was a model of probe droid that was used by the freelance spy known as the Shroud. It was equipped with sonic devices designed to attract and provoke local wildlife, and KD-24 drones were deployed to sic animals on individuals who were intruding on the Shroud's business.[1]

KD-24 Auditory Provocation Drones appear as enemies in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Rise of the Hutt Cartel, the first Digital Expansion for the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. One of three types of droids that will attack players who use macrobinoculars to scan the Shroud's transmitters, the KD-24 will appear on Alderaan, Balmorra, and Taris.[1]
