Khel was a male Chiss of the Chiss Ascendancy living during the Galactic War. In 3642 BBY he was stationed in the Dorn Base on Hoth, where he acted as a warden for the captured prisoner Blizz. His prisoner slipped out of his cell several times, but never tried to escape, instead choosing to taking apart the machinery. After Blizz aided a bounty hunter in tracking down Reneget Vause, the hunter persuaded Aristocra Shah'adrom'illithyr into letting Blizz go and join his crew.[1]
