Marko was a Human male who served as an ensign in the Republic Army during the Cold War. Assigned to Search and Rescue Squad 204 on the planet Taris, Marko served under Sergeant Elara Dorne. When the squad showed up to rescue captured Republic soldiers from the Fallenspire Stronghold on Taris, Elara ordered Marko to tend to the wounded.
