NK-33 was a personal droid bodyguard of Tyresius Lokai, a Devaronian smuggler who lived during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire.
Biography[]
In 3643 BBY, Lokai became a target in the Great Hunt, and retreated to Tatooine in hiding. After several escapes and getaways, Lokai was eventually tracked down and cornered by a bounty hunter. NK-33 fought the hunter, but was destroyed. However, Lokai and his pursuer made a compromise, and the Devaronian joined the hunter's ranks.
