Biography[]

Palso Thern, a Human male, was a starfighter pilot in the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War.[1] He served in Blue Squadron under the call sign Blue Seven.[2] Shortly before the Battle of Endor[1] in the year 4 ABY,[3] Thern was present during the briefing on the Rebel flagship, the MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser Home One, where the Alliance's Supreme Commander Mon Mothma announced that the Rebel fleet would attack the Galactic Empire's second Death Star battlestation.[1] During the battle that followed, Thern was among the Rebel pilots who engaged the Imperial fleet[2] over the moon Endor. The squadron was led by[4] Merrick Simms,[5] who was killed during the conflict. Following Simms' death, Blue Squadron joined Gold Leader Lando Calrissian on the latter's attack run on the Death Star, but later broke off from the attack in order to distract the pursuing TIE fighters. The battle ended with a victory for the Rebel Alliance, and the destruction of the second Death Star.[4]

Personality and traits[]

Palso Thern had blond hair,[1] blue eyes,[2] and light skin. He wore a red flight suit[1] and a helmet, and he wielded a blaster pistol. An elite pilot, Thern had bravery, skill, and loyalty to the Rebel Alliance. His chief goal was victory during the Battle of Endor. Knowing he was deciding the future of the galaxy, Thern did everything he could to complete his mission.[2]
