Photoreceptor was a feature on the Star Wars Hyperspace fan club website. It showcased hundreds of exclusive, sometimes never-before-seen images of the Star Wars saga pulled from the Lucasfilm archives. As of February 9, 2006, Photoreceptor contained 334 images.
Photoreceptor was discontinued from further updates as announced via a blog entitled Lucas Online by Pabawan on April 17, 2007.[1] The feature has since been removed with the discontinuation of the Hyperspace subscription service.
