Rahm Kota was an individual whose name was carved into the wall of a safehouse on the planet Mapuzo. The safehouse was one of a network used by members of the Hidden Path to smuggle Jedi and other Force-sensitives away from the Galactic Empire to the planet Jabiim, where they would be given new identities to go into hiding. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi saw their name among others on the wall in the safehouse when he and Leia Organa were smuggled in by Tala Durith.[1]

Rahm Kota in the Star Wars Legends continuity

In the current Star Wars canon, Rahm Kota was mentioned in the trivia gallery of the episode guide for the third episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi television series,[2] which aired on June 1, 2022.[3] The guide established that Kota's name was one of several references to characters from the Star Wars Legends continuity carved into the wall of the safe house set for the episode.[2] In Legends, Rahm Kota first appeared in the novelization of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.[4]
