Rudd was a Ugnaught male who served in the gang of crime lord Nem'ro the Hutt during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Rudd tasked an individual with delivering a datapad, containing a method of sabotaging the factories of Nem'ro's rival Voontara Fa'athra, to Peblak, another Ugnaught who worked for Nem'ro. The individual agreed, and delivered the datapad.[1]
