Shamuillan was a Twi'lek male who lived on the planet Ord Mantell during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. During the war, a civil war had broken out between the Republic-backed Ord Mantell Central Authority and the Mantellian Separatist Movement. Shamuillan worked inside the Republic's Fort Garnik on Avilatan island, where he operated a stall from which he sold equipment. While at his stall Shamuillan wore grey clothing. He had green skin, no hair, blue eyes and a large scar running across his face.[1]

Shamuillan first appeared in the 2011 massively multiplayer online roleplaying video game Star Wars: The Old Republic released by BioWare. In the game, Shamuillan acts as a Republic social items vendor on Ord Mantell.[1]
